Seattle is bursting with color. The cherry blossoms passed, now it’s time for rhododendrons and poppies. Even herb flowers are blooming.

My friend Chelsea Fuss will be in the studio May 17th to teach a class on floral design. She is a master at creating arrangements that flow organically. Movement and ease.

Here is a summary.

WHAT: Floral design masterclass with Chelsea Fuss. You will learn the ins and outs of working with fresh flowers. How to harvest and care for them, and how to make compelling, visually stunning arrangements that have that just-picked-from-the-garden feel.

WHEN: Saturday, May 17.

WHERE: My studio in Seattle.

FEE: $275 (includes materials and lunch).

We have been really working hard on our garden – both growing vegetables and flowers. Trial and error. So I am particularly thrilled to be learning from Chelsea. Hope you can join us. I cannot wait.
