Small Plates and Sweet Treats Book Trailer
Nearly six months ago, we traveled to Vermont to film the trailer for “Small Plates and Sweet Treats” – my book.
I wanted this trailer to reflect my cooking, my love of nature, and the healthful dishes and beauty I seek in everyday life. I knew from the beginning that I wanted to travel to the hill – Nadia’s hill. A place that sums my vision very well and a place with Jon and Miren feel at ease.
I also knew that I wanted Ryan Marshall to shoot it. I pursued him until I was able to get him to travel to Vermont in between two other projects.
We spent two days cooking, collecting eggs, picnic under the apple trees, and simply enjoying this relaxed time.
Nadia made it very comfortable and Ryan captured us as we are.
I cannot thank both of them enough.
So here it is.

Loved, loved, loved the trailer! And I know the book will be exquisite. I was just in the Dordogne for the first time, staying with Ouafaa for 8 days, and because of my own gluten-free needs, got her thinking about a certain GF group coming later this month :) Even left her a recipe or two which I’d been cooking there, and ingredients. Visited a couple of walnut farms, a prune processing operation, a foie gras farm, and winery, not to mention a host of other gorgeous sites, and left with warm and wonderful memories. Sending my very best wishes and hope to meet you some day.

Goodness, this is the best book trailer I’ve ever seen. I usually don’t buy cook books as I eexchage recipes with other bloggers instead, but I’m tempted to buy yours because if it’s just half as charming and beautiful as the trailer it’s a true work of art and definitely worth having.

I can’t thank you enough for what you have done for me! You are such an inspiration and what you do made me find my place here in our universe. I’ve always felt that I didn’t really know who I was, what I wanted in life before I found you blog. It might sound corny, but it’s true. I’ve always loved food and I’ve always loved photography and beeing outdoors in nature. But nobody I knew had the same interests as me and I didn’t even know that makeing a living out of food photography and such was possible. When grew up I never even heard of food photographers or food stylist. But then I started bloging about food and I tried to improve in my fotoskills..and then..I found you blog. And it was like coming home. So know in your heart that this is just not a blog for me, it’s just not a book among all other books about food.. I truly love everything you do and I really hope that you take all thew things I’ve sad to you heart!
