White bean and chorizo soup
It’s the countdown to Fall. An old friend who has lived in Seattle for ages whispered to me as we were walking… “this is the last warm front of the year, so stop complaining”
Bring the clouds, the rain, the fog and the creativity.
Oh yes, and soup. I am already planning a soup party for October.
This is the recipe my mom makes all year round but particularly on wintery Saturday mornings. It reminds me of her and in fact, this soup in the photo was made by her while we were visiting this summer. I shared it on my column on Conde Nast Traveler too. Visit there to get the recipe. It is so good. Eskerrik asko, amatxu.
